3× Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED 34"

Brief description 34-inch curved OLED with 3440 × 1440, 175 Hz and 0.03 ms response time. An ultrawide that gives you more of the track in your peripheral vision and blacks that an ordinary LCD cannot achieve. The screen is well suited to a sim rig.

Product description

A good screen is often the upgrade that makes the most difference in a sim rig. The Odyssey G8 has a 21:9 format and an 1800R curvature, so the edges curve in towards you. You see the apex, mirrors and cars alongside without turning your head, and the sensation of speed becomes significantly stronger than on a flat 16:9 screen.

Why OLED Each pixel illuminates independently. This delivers true black and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. Night racing at Le Mans and dark tunnels in Monaco look as they should, without grey haze or light bleed in the corners. The 0.03 ms response time ensures the image remains sharp even when you turn into a corner at 200 km/h.

Smooth at high speed 175 Hz together with AMD FreeSync Premium and G-Sync compatibility keeps the image smooth and free from tearing. It's most noticeable when you read braking points and correct a slide. With 3440 × 1440 and 110 pixels per inch, you get a sharp image without the PC needing to drive 4K.

Built to last Samsung's OLED Safeguard reduces the risk of burn-in. Brightness is automatically lowered on static elements such as HUD and logos, heat is actively regulated and the screen dims after ten minutes without activity. The Glare Free surface removes most reflections from windows and ceiling lights.

Suits your setup VESA 100 × 100 means the screen can be mounted on most monitor arms and rig mounts. It connects via DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1, so it works with both racing PC and console.
