Terms & Conditions

Version 3.0 • March 2026 • RaceLoop AB, reg.no 559542-8219

1. Introduction and Scope

These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all purchases made via raceloop.se and entered into with RaceLoop AB, reg.no 559542-8219, Kristinedalsvägen 53B, Nacka, Sweden ("RaceLoop"). By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and RaceLoop's processing of personal data. The current version is always available at raceloop.se/terms.

2. Products and Taxation

2.1 New Products

Swedish VAT of 25% applies to all new products and is specified on the invoice. Prices on the website are VAT-inclusive unless stated otherwise.

2.2 Used Products — Profit Margin Scheme

Not active at current launch. When RaceLoop offers used products, the Profit Margin Scheme applies. VAT is not separately stated and is not deductible for VAT-registered businesses.

3. Order and Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed when you have completed the full checkout process and received an order confirmation by email. RaceLoop reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of manifest pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.

4. Payment

Payment is processed via Stripe Checkout. Accepted methods include:

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • Other payment methods available in the checkout flow

Payment is charged at the time of order. Card details are not stored by RaceLoop — all card processing is handled by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1 certified).

5. Delivery and Assembly

5.1 Lead Times

  • Complete rig systems (Turn-key): approximately four (4) weeks from order confirmation.
  • Individual components: normally 1–3 business days.

Lead times are estimates and may be affected by supplier delays or circumstances beyond RaceLoop's control.

5.2 Shipping Method and Costs

Shipping is via PostNord Pallet or equivalent. Freight cost is calculated at checkout based on delivery address (5 pricing zones from Stockholm). Free shipping may be offered during promotions.

5.3 Delivery Address and Receipt

You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and ensuring goods can be received at the agreed time. Additional costs from missed deliveries are the buyer's responsibility.

6. Right to Complain (Warranty)

6.1 Consumers — 3-Year Right to Complain

Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (2022:260), consumers have the right to report defects for three (3) years from delivery. Defects arising within twelve (12) months are presumed to have existed at delivery.

6.2 How to Make a Complaint

Contact us as soon as possible at info@raceloop.se with your order number, a description and photo/video of the defect, and your preferred remedy. We respond within three (3) business days. If approved, RaceLoop covers return shipping.

6.3 Business Customers (B2B)

The Swedish Sale of Goods Act (1990:931) applies. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time, generally no later than ten (10) business days after the defect should have been discovered.

7. Right of Withdrawal

7.1 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59).

7.2 Exception — Assembled Rigs

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured or assembled to your specific instructions where the goods cannot be resold without material depreciation. A depreciation deduction applies to returned assembled rigs.

7.3 How to Exercise Your Right

  1. Notify us in writing within 14 days via info@raceloop.se, stating your order number and that you are exercising your right of withdrawal. You may also use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard withdrawal form.
  2. We will confirm receipt and provide return instructions.
  3. Return the goods within 14 days of notifying us. Return shipping is at your cost unless otherwise agreed.
  4. Refunds are issued within 14 days of receiving and approving the return, to the original payment method.

8. Privacy Policy and GDPR

RaceLoop AB is the data controller and processes your personal data in accordance with GDPR (EU) 2016/679.

8.1 Purposes and Legal Basis

  • Contract performance: name, address, email, phone — necessary to process and deliver your order.
  • Legitimate interest: purchase history for support and warranty matters.

8.2 Third-Party Sharing

Data is shared only with essential partners: Stripe (payments), shipping carriers (logistics), and Resend (transactional email). We never sell your data.

8.3 Retention

Purchase-related data is retained for seven (7) years as required by Swedish bookkeeping law. Other data is deleted when the purpose no longer applies.

  • RaceLoop's total liability to a consumer is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits consumers' statutory rights.

10. Force Majeure

RaceLoop is relieved of its obligations if performance is prevented by circumstances beyond its control that could not reasonably have been foreseen, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or significant supplier disruptions. You will be notified promptly and may cancel if the delay exceeds 60 days.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

11.1 Consumers

Disputes should first be resolved through dialogue. If no agreement is reached, consumers may refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. RaceLoop undertakes to participate in ARN proceedings. You may also use the EU ODR platform at arn.se and ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
